Lots of Lego lately.
This is definitely one of the most creative applications in the Apple AppStore. You can set your custom tabledrum sounds as a trigger for ‘real’ drum sounds in the application. Seems like a gimmick, something to show off to your friends and collegues, but since there’s almost no lag, TableDrum actually becomes very usable. It even notices and how soft/hard you hit your pencil on your table! Awesome.

Tesco (Korea) has created a virtual store in the subway where commuters can buy their groceries off virtual shelves on the walls . Punters just scan QR codes on the products with their phones and the products are added to their cart. Once they are done the items get delivered to their homes. Nice!
Using the insight that unless you’re actually running, the product benefit of Reebok‘s new ZigTech running shoes remains undiscovered, Forsman & Bodenfors created The Promise Keeper. An application that does exactly that.
Users can schedule their runs using the provided smartphone app. After scheduling a run, The Promise Keeper will make sure you’ll actually run it using video messages and personalised Tweets of famous Reebok athletes, such as Amir Khan and Lewis Hamilton. Running your schedules runs results in positive messages, while not running will fill the user’s YouTube/Facebook/Twitter account with messages lambasting his/her lack of dedication.

After all the interactive ad campaigns using social profiles, this game called It’s Just A Thought seems pretty fresh!

Converse has released an iPhone app that allows users to try on any shoe from the footwear brand’s catalogue simply by pointing an iPhone at their feet. The app uses augmented reality (AR) to place a virtual shoe over the foot, giving users an idea of how those trendy kicks will look, minus piles of shoe boxes, tangled laces and disgruntled store assistants. When they find a style they like, a few clicks will take them through to the store where shoes can be purchased. Unfortunately it’s US App Store only, so I couldn’t test it myself.
Find the App here (US App Store only): CLICK!

Honda‘s Facebook app called NaughtyOrNice-a-tron analyses your Facebook profile, comments and likes to decide if you’ve been naugty of nice. Although the outcome could’ve been more exciting, I like the idea of a Facebook naughty-or-nice analysis!
